I can't believe you guys did this for me! I am so grateful for the words you have shared here. Chuck, Travis, Chris, Eric, Luke, you are my whole life. I feel like every single conscious thought I have has all of you in it some where - loving you, missing you, worrying about you, rolling my eyes at you, wondering howinthehelldidyoudothat? and wanting to hug you all at the same time.

The only problem with this blog jumpstarting my writing career is that all my best material is supplied by you guys. I am not sure you thought this all the way through. :) I cannot think of a funny/scary/hilarious/silly/heart-rending story that is not somehow connected to you. My co-workers at JHS are so entertained by all of you, and I am pretty sure they all love you dearly, though few have actually met you.

Well, I will do my best to carve out a little time to write. Though you all look like fine writers yourselves. You certainly did a fine job making me sit in silence for a few minutes after reading your posts. Suddenly, I was without words. But I was filled with love, and the sincere gratitude for the blessings that are you.

50th Birthday Bash!

A fitting close to our Kona getaway, we all gather around mom to celebrate her 50th with a coconut cream cake, from a local Kona coconut.

Mom, we know you've talked about writing a book some day--maybe this is a good way to start?! I'm not sure if you already have a blog, but we look forward to checking in and reading of your exploits, wherever they end up.
